Our retreat blends adventure with relaxation, offering plenty of time to wander Reykjavik’s colorful streets, enjoy a cozy welcome dinner, and connect with fellow travelers. Optional add-ons like spa visits, food tours, and dramatic coastal day trips mean you can shape the experience to your vibe.

Looking for a warm, affirming getaway this winter? Join us for Lesbifriends Travel’s Annual Winter Trip, a cozy, community-centered retreat happening in beautiful Deep Creek, MD.

Hosted in an expansive private mansion with an indoor pool, hot tub, movie theater, game room, and more, this Galentine’s Day weekend will be all about connection, care, and Black queer joy. Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, or as part of a couple, you’ll be welcomed into a space built for rest, laughter, and love in all its forms.

Expect good food, dope people, cozy vibes, and moments that remind you just how powerful queer community can be.

  • This was my first trip with Lesbifriends, and ironically, the destination came to me by chance. But it was precisely what I needed during this season! I usually travel solo or with familiar companions, but I decided to take a chance on group travel without knowing anyone. Oh my gosh! I’m so glad I did! Nicaragua is absolutely breathtaking, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the intentional activities we engaged in. Journaling, yoga, cacao ceremonies, massages, and more—I would definitely return to this destination again! Now, for the best part! Our group was incredible, and it felt so liberating to be myself around complete strangers without judgment. A special shoutout to my housemates!
