Check-In is on Friday, February 16th @ 4pm
Official activities kick off at 6pm, but feel free to arrive at 4pm to settle in. If you're staying in Bear Foot Cove, early arrival starts at 4pm on Thursday, February 15.

Getting There: It is highly advised to look up directions ahead of time. You may not have reception at points during your drive so you are encouraged to download an offline map of the area and/or print directions. Please be mindful that the area may dark when traveling at night and you are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. Be careful driving as road conditions are unknown due to weather. Four and all-wheel drive is recommended.

What’s provided at the cabins?
Bedding (beds made w/ linens, pillows and a blanket and bedspread; extra pillows and blankets will not be available so if you need extra feel free to bring your own)
Bath Towels (1 towel per person; you are encouraged to bring a washcloth, as I these they are not always provided, and an extra towel or two for the hot tub)

Your favorite 90s outfit ~ A message from the DJ: Join us for a nostalgic house party! We'll be playing some of the greatest hits from that era, including TLC's, LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out," Cash Money's "Bling Bling," and Kid Play's "Rollin' with Kid 'N Play" and much more! Let's take a trip down memory lane, then pump it up to the most current hits! Let's have some fun reminiscing and creating fresh 90s vibes.
A fancy-ish outfit for our themed Shine & Shimmer dinner; something with sequins, glitter, and/or other materials/fabric that shines and shimmers is suggested
An item for Show ‘N Tell which will take place during the ice breaker on Friday night
Group games and $1 (one dollar bills) if you would like to participate in a couple of low-risk gambling games for Casino Night
Magazines (you don’t mind cutting up), other arts and crafts supplies, and a box to decorate for the Treasure Box activity
Food, snacks and drinks that you may just want for yourself (if you bring anything that needs to be refrigerated, you are encouraged to label them prior to arrival or it may be mistaken as community food)

Driving to Deep Creek
Due to the potential of bad weather and snowy conditions, it is advised to travel with snow tires and/or chains or a 4WD vehicle. The property management company, Railey Vacations, will make every attempt to clear driveways as quickly as possible but is not responsible for any roadways or access points outside of the rental driveway.
Hot Tub Rules
Never use a hot tub alone. Hot tubs must always be left covered and locked when not in use. Do not sit or stand on the hot tub cover as it can be damaged very easily. It is advised by Railey Vacations not to use soaps, oils or fragrances in the hot tub and/or swimming pool as well as to shower before use.
Smoking Policy
There is no smoking of any kind inside the properties.
Photos + Respect
There will be an official photographer on the trip, however, we all like to take and share photos, so I have proactively created an album on Google where we can share pictures and videos that we capture over the weekend: Deep Creek 2024 Photos. Lesbifriends Travel is a safe space and not everyone likes their photos to be taken/shared, so please try to be considerate and ask before you snap/post. Purple lanyards will be available to wear throughout the weekend to signify those who don’t want their picture captured and/or to be posted. Thanks!
Things to Do in the Area
Ace's High Lodge is on Wisp Resort which offers a variety of winter activities. I have done some initial research and added live links to the activities below. If you are interested in enjoying winter activities at Wisp or the Deep Creek area in general, you are encouraged to research before you go. Google and Yelp can be useful tools.

If you are traveling alone and do not want to spend the extra money for a single occupancy room, we are happy to match you with a like-minded traveler to be your roommate on this trip. We understand that the extra money spent in getting your own room takes away from the money available for you to splurge while on vacation.
For that reason, we extend each traveler the option of having us pair you with a suitable roommate for no additional cost. Roommates are paired based on room selection and a potential roommate questionnaire if there are several solo travelers. Before the trip, you will be introduced to your roommate, with plenty of time for you to get to know each other before we reach our destination.
