You’ve survived winter. You’ve swiped enough. You’ve made it to spring. Now it’s time to step outside, meet someone new, and make something with your hands.
Welcome to Craft & Spark: A Spring Singles Social, a fun, flirty, low-pressure afternoon designed for Black queer women and nonbinary singles who are ready to connect in real life.
We’re turning a cozy private home in Southeast DC into the ultimate spring social; structured enough to spark conversations, relaxed enough to let things flow naturally. No awkward bar hovering. No shouting over music. Just creativity, intentional moments, and warm community energy.
Hosted by Lesbifriends Travel in collaboration with Happy Trees Entertainment, this is your chance to create something beautiful while possibly meeting someone who makes your heart do a little spring awakening of its own.

Choose Your Craft:
🌿 Terrarium Workshop
Create your own succulent terrarium in a 5-inch planter. Choose between a wood or glass container, select three succulents, and personalize with decorative elements. You’ll leave with care tips, so your new little ecosystem thrives.
OR
✨ Stained Glass Art Workshop
Design 3–5 stained glass art pieces using tracers, lead paint, and glass paint. Your finished pieces can be hung in a window or attached to glassware, a literal spark of color for your space.
Plus:
🍷 Light bites, water, juice, and wine or a house drink
🎶 Music and cozy house party vibes
💬 A short, intentional singles icebreaker (because we believe in making it easier to say hello)
💖 Structured connection moments woven throughout the afternoon

Spots are intentionally limited (maximum 30 guests) to keep the vibe intimate and make connection feel natural, not overwhelming.
Tickets must be purchased individually, as each guest is required to sign a photo release/waiver and agree to our terms & conditions. If purchasing for someone else, please enter their full name and email at checkout for registration.

All event payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where Lesbifriends Travel cancels or reschedules an event.

By attending this event, you agree to being photographed. However, if communicated, we will try our best not to capture you in photos and post you publicly. That request must be communicated ahead of time/at the beginning of the event to photographer and host.
