Glamp Trip Terms & Conditions

Lesbifriends Inc., doing business as Lesbifriends Travel

This combined Agreement applies to participants booking The Glamp. Part I sets out the general travel terms. Part II contains additional community guidelines specific to The Glamp. Both parts form one agreement and are accepted through a single electronic signature or affirmative acceptance during registration.

Part I. General Trip Terms, Conditions & Participant Agreement

This Agreement applies to all travel experiences organized by Lesbifriends Inc., doing business as Lesbifriends Travel.

By booking or participating in a Lesbifriends Travel experience, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking, Payments & Cancellations

A deposit is required to secure a reservation. Cancellation requests submitted via email within 72 hours of booking are eligible for a refund, less applicable processing and administrative fees, except where prohibited by law.

After the initial grace period, the following cancellation terms apply:

At least 180 days before departure: Eligible for a refund, less applicable processing and administrative fees and nonrecoverable vendor costs.

90 to 179 days before departure: Eligible for a trip credit, less applicable fees and nonrecoverable costs.

Fewer than 90 days before departure: Payments are nonrefundable and no trip credit will be issued.

Trip credits must be applied toward a new Lesbifriends Travel booking within twelve months of the original cancellation date. Travel may occur after the credit's expiration date, provided the new booking is confirmed within the twelve month period. Credits have no cash value and may be transferred to another person with prior written approval from Lesbifriends Travel. Extensions may be granted at the discretion of Lesbifriends Travel.

All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to hello@lesbifriendstravel.com. Requests made by phone, text message, social media, or other methods will not be accepted. The date the email is received will determine eligibility for refunds or trip credits. Failure to make scheduled payments may result in cancellation of the reservation, subject to these terms.

Trip Changes & Travel Insurance

Trip itineraries, accommodations, and activities may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Lesbifriends Travel will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable alternatives.

Travel insurance, including trip cancellation and medical coverage, is required. Participants are responsible for obtaining adequate coverage and understanding their policy.

If Lesbifriends Travel cancels a trip, participants will be notified of available refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements consistent with applicable law and supplier obligations.

Community Conduct & Consent

Lesbifriends Travel is committed to creating welcoming, respectful, and affirming group experiences.

All participants are expected to respect others' personal boundaries, privacy, and consent. Harassment, discrimination, unwanted physical contact, intimidation, and other inappropriate or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Participants must also respect shared spaces, follow reasonable safety instructions, and contribute to a positive group environment.

Lesbifriends Travel reserves the right to remove participants whose behavior compromises the safety or well being of others or substantially disrupts the group experience. Serious violations may result in removal without refund or trip credit. Participants removed for misconduct are responsible for their own transportation, accommodations, and related expenses.

Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for assessing their ability to participate in trip activities, following safety instructions, and communicating relevant accessibility or accommodation needs.

Travel and group activities involve inherent risks. Participants acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their personal decisions and conduct.

Lesbifriends Travel works with independent travel suppliers and is not responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, except as required by law.

Photography & Media

By participating in a Lesbifriends Travel experience, participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded and authorize Lesbifriends Travel to use their image, likeness, and voice in promotional, marketing, social media, and community materials without additional compensation or approval.

Participants may indicate their media preference during registration. Lesbifriends Travel will make reasonable efforts to honor requests not to be featured but cannot guarantee exclusion from photographs, videos, or other materials.

Travel Documents & Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for ensuring their travel documents are accurate and valid, obtaining necessary visas, meeting destination entry requirements, and arriving on time for scheduled activities.

Unless expressly included in the itinerary, personal expenses, airfare, travel insurance, optional activities, and other excluded costs remain the participant's responsibility.

Disputes & Governing Law

Participants agree to first attempt to resolve disputes directly with Lesbifriends Travel in good faith.

Any unresolved dispute will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and the dispute resolution provisions agreed upon during booking.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Part II. The Glamp Community Guidelines, Consent & Participant Agreement

Purpose

The Glamp is designed to bring our community together through connection, relaxation, shared experiences, and celebration.

Lesbifriends Travel is committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and affirming environment where participants can express themselves freely while respecting the comfort, privacy, and boundaries of others.

These guidelines are part of this combined Agreement and apply to The Glamp and other designated community experiences.

Consent & Personal Boundaries

Every participant has the right to establish and maintain personal boundaries.

Participants agree to:

Obtain clear, voluntary consent before physical contact, intimate interactions, or sexual advances.

Understand that consent must be freely given and may be withdrawn at any time.

Respect another person's decision to decline an invitation, interaction, or activity without pressure or repeated requests.

Refrain from unwanted touching, sexual advances, harassment, intimidation, bullying, discrimination, or other inappropriate conduct.

Recognize that friendliness, flirting, shared accommodations, or participation in social activities does not imply consent.

Consent cannot be assumed based on a prior interaction, relationship, or another person's participation in the event.

Alcohol or substance use does not excuse violations of personal boundaries or consent.

Shared Accommodations, Nudity & Personal Space

The Glamp may involve shared cabins, yurts, bathrooms, hot tubs, and other communal facilities. Participants are expected to respect one another's privacy, personal space, and varying comfort levels.

Participants agree to:

Respect assigned accommodations, sleeping arrangements, personal belongings, and shared facilities.

Obtain permission before entering another participant's sleeping area or using their belongings.

Exercise discretion when changing clothes, bathing, or otherwise being undressed in shared accommodations, except in cabins or other spaces expressly designated as clothing optional. In those designated spaces, participants acknowledge that other occupants may be partially or fully nude. Nudity is never required, and everyone must continue to respect privacy, personal boundaries, and consent.

Outside designated clothing optional spaces, avoid prolonged or intentional nudity in shared accommodations and communal areas unless expressly permitted as part of a designated activity or venue policy. Choosing a clothing optional accommodation acknowledges that nudity may occur in the shared environment; it does not constitute consent to physical contact, photography, or sexual activity.

Recognize that designated hot tubs may be clothing optional where permitted by the venue. Participants may choose whether to wear swimwear and must respect others' comfort, personal space, and boundaries. Nudity does not imply consent to physical contact or sexual activity.

Refrain from sexual activity in hot tubs, pools, shared bathrooms, and other communal facilities. Lesbifriends Travel may separately designate an appropriate private space for intimate activity where venue rules and applicable laws permit.

Any intimate activity must involve consenting adults, respect the privacy and boundaries of others, and comply with venue rules and applicable laws. The availability of designated spaces is not guaranteed.

Keep intimate or sexual activity private. Sexual activity is not permitted in shared sleeping spaces while other occupants are present.

Observe designated quiet hours, maintain reasonably clean shared spaces, and follow property rules.

Participants sharing accommodations may mutually agree to changes in sleeping arrangements or overnight guests, provided all affected occupants consent. No participant should feel pressured to accept an arrangement that makes them uncomfortable. All arrangements must comply with venue occupancy limits and property rules.

Participants are encouraged to communicate accommodation concerns privately with a designated Lesbifriends Travel representative rather than feeling obligated to negotiate uncomfortable situations directly with cabinmates.

Specific acknowledgment of consent and shared accommodations

By accepting this combined Agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and understand Sections 1 and 2 regarding consent, personal boundaries, shared accommodations, nudity, and sexual activity. I agree to respect these expectations and understand that serious violations may result in removal from the experience without refund or trip credit, subject to applicable law.

Alcohol, Social Activities & Personal Responsibility

The Glamp includes opportunities for socializing, celebration, and community connection.

Participants are responsible for their own conduct and decisions, including when consuming alcohol or other substances.

Participants agree to:

Consume alcohol or other substances responsibly and comply with applicable laws and property rules.

Respect others who choose not to drink or participate in particular activities.

Avoid conduct that creates an unsafe, hostile, or disruptive environment.

Follow reasonable instructions from Lesbifriends Travel representatives and venue staff.

Respect the voluntary nature of workshops, recreational activities, and social interactions.

No participant is obligated to attend every activity or engage in any interaction that makes them uncomfortable.

Affectionate or romantic interactions between consenting adults are welcome, provided they remain respectful of others and appropriate to the setting. Communal spaces, including hot tubs, are intended for shared recreation and relaxation, not sexual activity.

Privacy, Photography & Confidentiality

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and the personal nature of conversations that may occur during community activities.

Participants agree not to share another person's sensitive personal information, private disclosures, or experiences without permission.

Photographs and videos must not be taken in bathrooms, changing areas, or other settings where participants have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Participants should ask permission before recording or sharing another person's private or vulnerable moments.

Lesbifriends Travel's general Photography & Media policy remains in effect. Participants' stated media preferences will be considered, although exclusion from promotional materials cannot be guaranteed.

Reporting Concerns & Seeking Support

Lesbifriends Travel will designate a Response and Reporting Team to provide participants with a discreet point of contact for concerns involving consent, personal boundaries, harassment, privacy, shared accommodations, or other inappropriate behavior.

Team members will be identified before the experience and introduced during the community orientation.

Participants may approach any member of the Response and Reporting Team privately, without having to confront another participant or report concerns through their cabin or yurt mates.

The Response and Reporting Team will make reasonable efforts to:

Listen to concerns respectfully and without judgment.

Address immediate safety needs and provide appropriate support.

Review reported concerns fairly and discreetly.

Limit disclosure of sensitive information to individuals who reasonably need it to address the situation.

Coordinate with Lesbifriends Travel leadership or venue personnel when necessary.

Recommend appropriate next steps, including changes to accommodations, participation restrictions, or removal when warranted.

While reports will be handled as discreetly as reasonably possible, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, particularly when disclosure is necessary to address safety concerns or comply with the law.

Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith or participates in a review is prohibited.

Participants are encouraged to report concerns promptly, but may do so whenever they feel comfortable. In an emergency, participants should contact emergency services or appropriate venue personnel immediately.

Accountability & Removal

Lesbifriends Travel reserves the right to take reasonable action when a participant violates these guidelines or substantially disrupts the experience.

Depending on the circumstances, action may include a private conversation, a warning, changes to participation or accommodations, restrictions on activities, or removal from the experience.

Serious misconduct, including harassment, nonconsensual physical contact, sexual activity in prohibited communal spaces, threats, or retaliation, may result in immediate removal without a prior warning.

Participants removed for serious misconduct are not entitled to a refund or trip credit, except where required by applicable law. They are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation, accommodations, and related expenses.

Lesbifriends Travel will consider the nature and seriousness of reported conduct, available information, and the safety and well being of participants when determining an appropriate response.

Trip Kickoff, Mandatory Consent Training & Onsite Orientation

Lesbifriends Travel will host a virtual trip kickoff approximately one month before The Glamp to review important trip details, expectations, and logistics. Attendance is encouraged, and a recording will be shared with participants.

All participants must complete the required consent and community conduct training before arriving at The Glamp. The training may be self guided, virtual, or facilitated by Lesbifriends Travel. It will address consent, personal boundaries, respectful interactions, shared accommodations, nudity, intimate activity, appropriate use of communal facilities, and procedures for reporting concerns to the Response and Reporting Team.

Completion of the training by the communicated deadline is a mandatory condition of attendance. Participants who fail or refuse to complete the training will not be permitted to attend The Glamp and will not be entitled to a refund or trip credit, except as required by applicable law.

An onsite community orientation will also be held at the beginning of The Glamp to introduce the Response and Reporting Team, review community expectations, and share important information about the property and planned activities. All participants are strongly encouraged to attend. Those who arrive after the orientation will be provided with essential information separately.

Agreement & Questions

All travelers must review and accept the Lesbifriends Travel Glamp Terms, Conditions & Participant Agreement when booking. Additional requirements may apply to specific experiences.

Questions about these policies may be directed to Lesbifriends Travel through our Contact page.
