This 30+ is an in-person, masked connection experience designed to shift how attraction builds in a dating event. Arrive dressed up, upscale, intentional, fine like wine, and wear a mask that lets you see while keeping part of your face hidden or obscured. So, no blindfolds.
We begin together as one full group: speed daters and speed kinksters, with guided icebreakers and a masked mix & mingle to set the tone.
Then the experiences separate into Masked Blind Speed Daters and Mask-Optional Speed Kinksters.
This is a collaboration between Lesbifriends Travel, intimacy coordinator and sexologist Zuri Pryor-Graves, and pleasure practitioner and somatic educator Dame Sadie. Three facilitators, one unforgettable night!
You will choose one experience at registration.
This event is capped at 100 guests to preserve the quality and intimacy of every interaction. Arrive with curiosity. Leave with something to think about.
The Location
Unmasked takes place across two levels of Mixxed DC.
While Zuri’s group is in their speed dating experience on one level, Dame’s group will be having a separate experience on another level. This will be on a different floor of the building, but don’t fret, we get to reconnect with them at the end of the night.
The Masquerade
Dress up. Show out. Wear a mask.
Unmasked has a masquerade theme and we are asking every guest to lean all the way into it. Come dressed in something upscale and intentional, fine like wine, and pair it with a mask of your choice. Your mask should let you see clearly while keeping part of your face partially hidden. No blindfolds. Just a little mystery and a lot of intention.
For the Speed Dating experience, the mask is part of how the night works. For the Speed Kinking experience, you are welcome to remove your mask.
The masquerade is optional but strongly encouraged. Dress the part and let yourself be surprised.
Tickets
Tickets start at $30. The price will increase. The earlier you grab yours, the better. The price will raise to $40 then $50 and finally to $60. Every ticket includes the exact same experience regardless of when you purchase. The longer you wait to lock in your spot, the more you’ll pay.

Choose Your Experience
When you register, you willselect one of the following experiences. You will stay in your chosen experience for the structured portion of the evening, then both groups come back together for the social and dance party to close out the night.
Experience 1: Love is Blind and Queer: Masked Speed Dating Experience Led by Zuri Pryor-Graves
A game-based, Love Is Queer and Blind experience with a mix of group activities, prompts, and one-to-one rotations. You’ll move through multiple rounds of conversation while masked, building connection through interaction, energy, and presence.
Once speed dating wraps, daters will submit their selections to the organizers, who they’d like to connect with further outside of the event.
After all submissions are in, the daters unmask together.
After unmasking, daters rejoin the kinksters who are likely all, if not mostly already unmasked, to close out the structured portion of the event.
From there, the night opens up to drinks, dancing, conversation, and time to reconnect across both groups. If someone caught your attention earlier in the other experience, like in the icebreaker with the kinksters, this is where you meet them. Kinksters can also share what they explored with anyone curious as long as it is consensual and safe.
After the event, you’ll receive your mutual matches by email.

Zuri Pryor-Graves is a sexologist, therapist, and intimacy coordinator who knows how to create spaces where people actually connect. She’s spent years working behind the scenes in TV and film, helping actors navigate chemistry, boundaries, and real human interaction, so she has a sharp eye for what’s genuine and what’s just for show.
In real life, that translates into experiences that feel intentional, a little bold, and easy to step into. Zuri keeps things structured enough to guide the room, but open enough for people to relax, flirt, and figure out what they’re actually drawn to.

Dame Sadie (they/she) is a pleasure missionary, wellness practitioner, and community healer with over 20 years of experience in the erotic arts. Certified as a Somatic Sex Educator, Mindfulness and Meditation teacher, Reiki II Practitioner, Crystal Healer, and Master Life Coach, Dame Sadie has built their life's work around the healing power of pleasure and the liberation that comes with knowing your own body. They are the founder of Sadie's Apothecary and the creator of spaces like The Qink Conversation and Dope Pleasure in the Woods. Her work is rooted in inclusive, healing justice-centered practice. Experience 2: Speed Kinking Led by Dame Sadie
Kink is not what the media made you think it is. In the right container, with the right facilitator, it is play. It is body connection. It is a genuinely fun way to explore sensation and build community.
Speed Kinking is a guided, supervised experience where participants move through 2 to 3 kink-based activities in small groups with space to learn, practice, and engage at their own comfort level. Before anything begins, Dame Sadie sets care agreements and walks everyone through the basics. From there, guests rotate through groups of three as giver, receiver, and witness. Whether you want to be talked to nicely, rubbed, pinched, or nothing at all, the practice of negotiating your desires in a safe affirming space is its own kind of liberation.
Every person gets the chance to ask for what they want from a pre-approved menu of options. This is not a play party. Speed Kinking is designed to invite curiosity, build connection, and give you a memory worth carrying home.
All experience levels are welcome. Everything you need to participate is provided. All you bring is curiosity and care.
A few important notes for this experience: phones are not permitted in the space once the session begins to protect everyone's privacy. Monitors will be present throughout to provide support. A Playtime Basics PDF cheat sheet will be sent to all Speed Kinking participants by email before the event so you arrive feeling informed and ready.
How the Night Flows
5:00 PM | Doors open. Guests arrive, check in, and get settled. Everyone starts together on the main level. Grab a drink, ease in, and let the masquerade energy do its thing.
5:30 PM | Welcome and framing. Lisa welcomes the full group, then Zuri and Dame Sadie each introduce their respective experiences. Expectations, flow, and consent centered framing are set before anyone splits off.
5:45 PM | The experiences begin. Guests move into their selected experience for approximately two hours of guided immersive programming. Both sessions run in parallel with their own pacing and flow. There is no switching between eperiences. The depth is the point.
7:45 PM | Reconvene. Both groups come back together for a short closing moment, thank yous, a light grounding, and a gentle transition out of the structured space.
8:00 PM to 10:00 PM | Decompression, social, and dancing. Music up. The night opens. This portion of the evening is intentionally unstructured, designed to give everyone room to breathe, integrate, mingle, dance, and find the person who caught their attention earlier.
Please note: You can stay as long as you want. Flow into whatever the venue has going after, it stays open until 3:00 AM. The night is yours. But keep in mind there will be a separate event happening after 10:00 PM with its own cost and is not associated with us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I do both Speed Dating and Speed Kinking? Each guest selects one experience at registration and stays in that experience for the structured portion of the evening. Both groups come together for the social and dance party at the end of the night, so you will share space with everyone eventually.
Do I have to wear a mask? The masquerade is optional but strongly encouraged. For Speed Dating participants, the mask is a meaningful part of how the experience is designed. For Speed Kinking, you’re allowed to take off the mask.
Is this a play party or a sexual event? No. Speed Kinking is an educational, guided experience centered on curiosity and consent. All activities are supervised, operate within pre-approved boundaries, and are facilitated by Dame Sadie with monitors present throughout. Care agreements are set before anything begins.
I have never done anything kink related. Is Speed Kinking for me? Absolutely. All experience levels are welcome and the session is designed with newcomers in mind. A Playtime Basics PDF will be sent to all Speed Kinking participants before the event so you arrive feeling prepared and comfortable.
I have never done speed dating. Is this for me? Yes. Zuri creates a space that is genuinely easy to step into regardless of your experience with dating events. Come curious and let the structure guide you.

Will I get my matches after the event? Speed Dating participants will receive their mutual matches by email after the event. The social hour is also a great opportunity to connect with anyone across both groups who caught your attention during the earlier portions of the night.
What is the age requirement for Speed Dating? The Speed Dating experience is designed for guests 30 years old and up. Please keep this in mind when selecting your track at registration.
