Join Lesbifriends Travel for an afternoon of creativity, community, clay, and connection at woman-owned Moonlight Studios in Hyattsville, MD. Whether you are brand new or clay curious, this experience is about play and presence, not perfection or production.
This event is limited to just 18 attendees to keep the vibe intimate and ensure everyone gets meaningful time at the wheel.
You’re welcome to bring your own light snacks, wine, and other refreshments to the studio for yourself to enjoy or to share.
An instructor will give a live wheel demo, then you will rotate through short turns on the pottery wheel in small groups. When it is not your turn, enjoy the vibe, cheer for friends, and snap a photo or two.
This is a judgment free space where you can try something new, enjoy some laughs, and leave a little lighter.

🏺 A guided 2.5-hour pottery workshop led by the amazing instructors at Moonlight Studios.
Please note: This is a shared studio experience, and wheel time is divided between participants.
🍶 Two rounds at the pottery wheel and one finished glazed piece to keep.

General Admission: $70 per person

Add-On Option
Ship your finished piece: $15
Total ticket price with shipping: $85 per person
If you prefer not to return to the studio for pickup, simply select the add-on option that says “Ship Your Finished Piece” at checkout, and your finished piece will be sent directly to you.
The Little Details
What should I wear?
Think casual and comfy! Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty with clay. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your wonderful self and any beverages or light snacks you would like. We’ve got everything else covered.
Interested in optional group brunch?
After the workshop, those who are interested may gather with us for brunch at a nearby restaurant. This is completely optional and will be at each person’s own cost. We will use registration responses to gauge interest and potentially make a reservation.

All event payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where Lesbifriends Travel cancels or reschedules an event.
