Lesbifriend Luminary: Alexandra Taylor
lu·mi·nar·y
/ˈlo͞oməˌnerē/ - n - a person who inspires or influences others, especially one prominent in a particular sphere.
Each month we take a moment to show appreciation for an exemplary member of our community. Affectionately named “Lesbifriend Luminary”, we honor you.
Alexandra Taylor (she/her) is the creative force behind Taylor Made Blooms and the host of our upcoming Spritz & Blooms garden party.
A Savannah, Georgia native, Alexandra brings Southern charm and hands-on creativity to the DMV through floral design. Taylor Made Blooms began as a way to create one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family, hence the play on "Taylor Made," a reminder that floral arrangements can be a unique expression of affection and artistry.
As a professional, Alexandra leads a team of coaches focused on empowering others to reach their goals. Academically, she is currently pursuing her doctorate in business administration with a specialization in marketing. Floral design marked a new era for this serial academic, unlocking her creative freedom without the restraint of perfectionism.
Flowers remind us to appreciate the beauty of the present. By combining her background as a coach with her love for flowers, Alexandra seeks to remind others to be present, that beauty thrives in the absence of perfection, and to empower others to unlock their own creative freedom.
Past events hosted by Alexandra include Vino & Blooms, a bottle-bouquet making workshop, and now the upcoming Spritz & Blooms Garden Party.
